My nightly beauty routine is fairly extensive, but it’s worth it if it keeps me looking young and vibrant. I devised this beauty routine after years of trial and error. I’ve also done quite a bit of research into the recommendations of dermatologists and aestheticians. This particular routine that I follow was recommended by an aesthetician from NYC. When I tried the five step process, my face, neck, and decolletage felt fantastic! I knew this was the beauty regimen for me.
If you have any questions about the products, let me know in the comments, and I’ll reply! Also, please let me know about your beauty routines – how does yours differ from mine?
Step 1: Cleanse
This one is easy and obvious enough. I use a spin brush for the face (not shown) by Olay that thoroughly cleans my skin
with one of the products shown in the photo below.
Step 2: Toner
Toner is an important step that many people overlook. My skin is a bit on the dry side so I use Witch Hazel which is soothing to the skin, moisturizing, and shrinks pores. Other toners, especially the alcohol-based ones, are good for oily or acne-prone skin.
Step 3: Serum
Serums are quite popular these days and for good reason. Chalked full of vitamins and anti-oxidants, serums are concentrated with nutrients and delivered right to the skin. Usually, I wait for the toner to dry on my skin before applying the serum just to ensure that the serum isn’t diluted.
Step 4: Moisturize
This is probably the most important step in any skin care regimen. When I use a moisturizer, I not only use it on my face, but I’m certain to use it on my neck and decolletage area well. It keeps all areas feeling and looking wonderful! And yes, you put this on top of the serum that you applied in Step 3.
Step 5: Eye Cream
To avoid under eye circles, crow’s feet, and any other dreadful thing that can happen to your eyes, I use eye cream fastidiously every night. When I apply it, I’m certain to be gentle and pat it around my eyes so as not to damage the delicate skin.
I absolutely love Cera Ve. I use it every single night before bed.
I just started using the cleanser and love it! xo
Our evening regimes are similar! And we use some of the same products! It really makes a difference in your skin to have a regular plan.
It is very important to have a regular regimen. That’s cool that we both have similar ones :). xo
Moisturizing is sooo important! Seems like a great nightly routine!
I couldn’t agree more! xo
I really need to invest in a witch hazel toner. You have great products in your routine!
You’ll love it! It helps to moisturize the skin too! xo
My nighttime routine is basically 1. splash water on face. The end. It’s so bad, I need a better routine for sure!
Just start out slowly with a nice cleanser and you’ll love the way your skin feels! xo
I need to start using toner! I also need to find a new moisturizer because it made my skin start to break out a little. I’ll look into the ones in this post!

It took me a while to find the ones that were right for me. Using Witch Hazel as a toner has changed my complexion! I love it! Best of luck!! xo
This is a pretty extensive routine. I’ve never used a serum and never knew what they were for. This is great info!!
Thanks so much, Roxy! Serums are great for your skin and feel awesome! xo
I love that St. Ives tea tree scrub too!!!! I used to skip toners, but now I’m loving and using them too!

The older I’ve gotten, the more I appreciate a good skin care routine. It’s so important to keeping skin healthy and younger looking. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize is my mantra!
That’s a terrific mantra! xo

I remember when Olay used to be called Ulay. Don’t know why the changed it. Love their products though.
I love Olay products! I sometimes use them exclusively. xo
I currently do not have a regular regimen but should jump on that. You mentioned your skin is somewhat dry, and I have that issue in specific areas of my face as well. I’ll give this one a shot!
I’ve tried different products and you just have to go with what works for you! I hope the products that I’ve presented help you! xo
Wow these look great, so now we know why your skin is so beautiful! 😉

I love Laveiee’s eye cream. It’s particularly nourishing~ Thanks for your kind words! xo
Wow, you have quite an extensive collection of skincare products! I love it!
I’ve incorporated an eye cream into my routine, and I also regularly use face masks now for an extra dose of vitamins and nutrients for my skin. The only thing I haven’t quite gotten used to using is toner. I’m trying hard to have it in my routine, but I always forget the step.
