Valentine’s Day is stressful enough, so your outfit shouldn’t be.  I have organized outfits for six different occasions according to what your plans happen to be.  Whatever they are, have a wonderful time!

1.     The Casual Date

Whether you are going to a local karaoke bar, blues club, or comedy club, you’ll look chic in this casual, yet sophisticated ensemble.  Pay attention to details like the cascading sleeves on the sweater or the red ankle boots.

2.     An Outdoor Adventure

Planning a hike or something athletic and outdoors?  You will need the proper gear, especially sneakers and a sports bra.  No athleisure here.  These items are all heavy duty for the outdoors.

3.     Out On The Town

Scour the town with your partner in search of the city’s best bar or tavern in the neighborhood, but keep it casual in flat shoes.

4.     The Traditional Route

If you’re the type to fully embrace the love-ly holiday, paint the town red, literally. Slip into your sexiest LBD and top off the look with luxe accessories and a bright red coat.

5.     Galentine’s Day

If you’re spending Valentine’s Day with your not-so-lonely hearts club of single ladies, pull out all the stops with a playful outfit.  It’s a prime opportunity to wear your gaudiest items because Saint Laurent told us the ’80s were back.

6.     Staying In

Cuddled up on the couch this holiday? Alone or otherwise, luxuriate in a silk pajama set, a cozy sweater and fur trimmed slippers.
