Monday mornings will come again repeatedly each week regardless of how you feel about them. However, it doesn’t have to be the typical melancholy day that it is made it out to be.
However, Mondays, and all the other work days, compel you to wear certain clothes, eat breakfast in a timely manner, and stick to a strict schedule. Of course, these things are easier when you are prepared for the week ahead
1. Arrange Your To-Do List
When it comes to getting ready for the week, the best place to begin is with your to-do list. It will help you become more prepared for the week ahead.
2. Do Your Laundry
The last thing you need when mid-week arrives is a shortage of clean shirts, underwear, or socks. On Sunday, gather your dirty clothes, and wash and dry all of them. You’ll be so glad that you did!
3. Shop for All Your Week’s Groceries
If you’re routinely coming home to an empty refrigerator, then get in the habit of stocking up on Sundays. Constantly making trips to the grocery during the week will zap your time and energy. It’s best to make a single trip each Sunday and pick out all of your food needs for the week.
4. Clean Out Your Handbag
By the end of the week, most ladies’ handbags have more in them than when they started the week. You can start each week with a clean state by spending a few minutes on Sunday cleaning out your handbag, You’ll feel much lighter and more organized.
5. Plan Your Outfits for the Week
You’re most likely going to be sleepy each weekday morning, so plan for this by choosing outfits before the week begins. The best outfits are created in a non-stressful, non-groggy environment.
6. Schedule “Fun Time”
Send out some texts and schedule a few plans with friends, even if it just means getting coffee after work on Wednesday. It’ll give you something to look forward to, while also helping you relax. After all, your week shouldn’t be all about the nine to five grind.
7. Prepare Your Gym Bag
Most of us start the week with the best of intentions for our fitness goals. We may plan to go to the gym or to get up early to run. However, these plans are often thwarted, usually due to a lack of preparation. Packing an entire week’s fitness outfits in one bag and keeping it in your car or at your desk at work will negate the excuse that you don’t have the proper workout gear.
8. Declutter Your Home
Get ready for Monday with a clean home or, at the very least, one that isn’t overflowing with clutter. Doing tasks like taking out the trash, loading the dishwasher, and making your bed will give you a whole different feeling to the beginning of your week.
9. Plan an Uplifting Monday Morning Breakfast
Having a delicious and nutritious breakfast on Monday morning will start your week off right. However, preparing for the next morning’s breakfast can continue your great start to the week!
10. Incorporate Relaxation
In preparation for the week ahead, do what is necessary, but don’t spend your entire Sunday running around exhausting yourself. Set aside time to relax because that is also an incredibly important way to spend your Sunday.
