About Hotel Haya

Located in Tampa’s historic Ybor City, Hotel Haya is a boutique hotel offering world-class service with authentic hospitality. Designed by local firm Alfonso Architects Incorporated, the 178-room property captures the unique spirit and dynamic character of Ybor City. The decor immerses guests in mid-century Cuba with rooms featuring period fabrics and colors: warm and inviting palettes of blue, red, brown and gold in addition to four massive Francisco Goya reproductions and Chihuly-style glass blown globes paying homage to Ybor’s famous streetlights. The project is an adaptive reuse of two historic buildings: the district’s first restaurant built in 1890 and the Warren building, rumored to have housed Teddy Roosevelt & Rough Riders.

Hotel Haya spotlights the eclectic blend of people, cuisines and cultures in Ybor City through exclusive programming and dynamic collaborations with local artists, artisans, and businesses. At Flor Fina, a Latin-inspired restaurant rich with Mediterranean flavor and flair, guests and locals gather to enjoy exceptional coastal cuisine and handcrafted cocktails.  Additional on-site food and beverage venues include the charming Cuban café and neighborhood gathering spot Café Quiquiriqui. Hotel Haya’s secluded courtyard pool is an oasis among the hustle and grit of downtown, featuring lush greenery and Italian white tile. The property also offers vibrant meetings and events spaces including a 4,000 sq. ft. ballroom.
