While planning her own wedding and simultaneously working on her MBA, Hannah Roze realized there was no true project management tool designed for today’s modern brides. So she built one to help other brides. Plannerd helps brides and grooms stay organized, reduce stress and make sure nothing falls through the cracks leading up to their big day. As a founder who has a front seat to seeing how couples plan their weddings, Hannah can speak to what today’s couples are prioritizing, how wedding planning is shifting and bridal trends leading into the 2026 wedding season.

  1. How can you stay relaxed, yet focused on wedding planning?
It can feel incredibly daunting when you think about everything you need to accomplish before your wedding day. I always recommend working backwards and breaking the long list of tasks into more manageable chunks. No matter what your planning timeline looks like, it’s helpful to identify the most critical vendors and prioritize locking those in early. Once you have a plan for what to accomplish first, determining a system for staying on track can be incredibly empowering and do wonders for reducing stress. Couples on Plannerd can use our expert checklist to keep everything organized, and collaborate with everyone in their planning support system.
  2. How does Plannerd help couples plans for their wedding?
Plannerd gives couples a central wedding hub that keeps everything organized and on track throughout the planning journey. Before Plannerd, couples would open a blank spreadsheet and spend countless precious hours building and maintaining an overwhelming rat’s nest; or cobbling together resources from ten different sites only to find they were still struggling and frustrated.Plannerd eliminates the overwhelm by delivering peace, organization and expert guidance. Not only is Plannerd intuitive and user-friendly, but it incorporates tactful AI and creative product design to support couples across their To Do List, Budget, Guestlist, Timeline, and more. Couples can finally feel supported with tools that offer expert guidance and structure, while remaining customizable for whatever unique celebration you’re dreaming up, no spreadsheets needed.
  3. What are some wedding dress trends for 2026?
Corsets, sculptural shapes, and unique silhouettes! 2026 is looking bolder and more out of the box than ever, which I love. We’re seeing dropped waists and more couture vibes with lots of drama and texture. Brides who are excited to go big with a statement are going to feel right at home this upcoming wedding season.
  4. Will more couples elope in 2026?
Trends in average guest count and “micro wedding” related search terms over the past years do point to an increase in more intimate wedding celebrations. Although what some couples consider exactly “elopement” might be up for debate. For certain, more couples are designing celebrations that truly reflects their values and character as a couple. For many that means cutting out the C-wave guests and opting for a tighter knit group on their big day.
  5. What about vendors – will there be more popular vendors for weddings in 2026?
Delivering a memorable and unique guest experience in 2026 is definitely going to take on new and even more immersive forms. This could be live handrolls from a sushi master chef, a tarot card reading, or a flash tattoo bar.For many couples, these unique vendors are providing experiences not only on the wedding day, but across multi-day celebrations. This gives guests multiple touchpoints to connect with the couple, make connections with other guests, and walk away with lasting memories, rather than a blur of tradition and prescriptive merrymaking.
  6. What is the wedding before the wedding?
I did this back in 2021! We brought 14 people to Hawaii for a super intimate ceremony and then held our larger celebration with 170 guests the following year. This was largely due to Covid, but I’m seeing so many more couples follow suit today.I think people are drawn to the idea of a more intimate celebration that can be fully on their terms, but still want the blow-out. When it comes to throwing the “come one and all” edition, couples are happier to accommodate opinions or traditions from family if they’ve had the chance to party it up in their own way beforehand.
  7. Is there anything else that you would like to add that I haven’t asked?
I say this almost every day to couples, our Plannerd team, and business partners: Frustrating wedding planning is not a rite of passage. Plannerd is on a mission to empower couples to enjoy their engagement and to relish in the wedding planning chapter of life, rather than white-knuckle through it.
