Sharing the news that Cambridge Satchel is taking a bold step into a new era with its AW26 collection, “Risky Business,” drawing inspiration from the expressive, unapologetic style of the 1980s.
The collection marks a fresh creative direction for the British brand, introducing two new silhouettes — the East West Shoulder Bag ($320) and East West Tote ($395) — alongside Cambridge Satchel’s signature satchel shapes. Designed with new proportions, tactile materials and a vibrant mix of colors and heritage neutrals, the collection brings a contemporary edge to the brand’s distinctly British aesthetic.
Among the standout pieces are bags crafted in hair-on leather, including the East West Shoulder Bag in Oxblood Red Hair-On-Hide, as well as the Mini Satchel in Navy Hair-On-Hide. Other styles feature rich oxblood leather, bold blue hues and an oversized houndstooth and oxblood red combination that feels particularly of-the-moment.
As always, every Cambridge Satchel is handcrafted in England by skilled artisans, using traditional techniques and heritage British textiles from Abraham Moon & Sons. The result is a collection that balances craftsmanship and history with a much more directional, fashion-forward sensibility.
The first collection drop is available now, with the second drop launching this month.
